Graduation and AFS-YPR
Yesterday I finally had my senmon gakkoo (technical school) graduation! And I also got a special certificate for good grades as an exchange student (^O^)/ wohoo!
The cerimony was very boring, but the party after that was great! A lot of eating, drinking, talking, singing =P
And after the party we (Javier, Takahashi, Jin, Mutou and I) decided to go to Shibuya to play pool (billiard). When we got to Tamachi Station, the train was stopped because of an suicide accident, so, 'without any other option', we opened the bottle of whisky that we got from the party and started drinking. Since the train didn't move for more than 30 minutes, we drank all the bottle.
In Shibuya, we played pool for almost 3 hours. Long time I hadn't played it!
The final score was 1-Takahashi (he didn't know how to play at first o_O) 2-Diogo 3-Javier 4-Jin 5-Mutou (he left earlier).
And today I had to do a speech for all AFS East Japan exchange students that just arrived here! @_@ I got very nervous so it was nothing as I expected (as usual), but I am glad I did it. I hope that my advices helps them somehow.
Before starting the speech I had the idea to take a picture of them. This is it:
Everybody doing the peace gesture! What a great view!
They are just starting the AFS year.... Urayamashii~~~~~ T_T
How jealous I am >_< Especially now that I am leaving Tokyo and won't be around these places and people that mean so much to me.
Well... maybe I'll be back. You never know, right?
5 more days to go .

Colombian & Brazilian Restaurant
The other day I went with my friends Takahashi and Javier to a Colombian restaurant to celebrate Javier's birthday.
The food was really good and the place also has a Latin restaurant style, so I felt at home. Ow, and the people who works there are really nice too!
This giant plate with enough food to make you loosen your belt costs around 1200 yens (12 dollars).
店の名前は ラ・ブラスカ
住所は 中野区新井1-2-11 2階
青丸は中野駅で、赤丸は店になります。
And today, I went with my friends Mao and Miki (they were AFS exchange students in Brazil 2004-2005) to a Brazilian restaurant!
The food was also very good! There weren't many options, but for around 1500 yens (15 dollars) I could eat lots of 'feijao' and 'churrasco' =D So I was more than satisfied!

Ibaraki Prefecture
Yesterday I went to my friend's house (actually my friend was not there, but her mother is also my friend... so, yeah, my friend's house) in Mito city to stay there these 2 days. I got there in the end of the afternoon so we staid at home just talking, eating good food, and playing with the pets. There are a lot of animals there! (3 cats, 2 dogs, 1 frog, some fishes, birds, chickens.... and maybe others I didn't see)
At night we took a walk with the dogs (carrying the bag to bring their 'excrements' back home, of course =] ) and after taking a bath in the ofuro we sat in the kotatsu (it's a table with a heater under it) and watched some funny japanese shows on TV until we got sleepy. Except for the zoo, it was a typical japanese family night. I slept in a futon with one of the dogs beside me and the cats jumping around the room in the darkness.
The next day we ate breakfast (salad, hamburg and toast with butter - yes, we also have this kind of disjune here in Japan) and went for a walk with the dogs again (more poo in the bag!). After that we went for a drive.
Our first goal was a strawberry greenhouse! Apparently there had been something about it on TV the week before so a lot of people went there on the weekend and ate almost all the strawberries. But, fortunately, after looking for a long time we found one place still doing it. It costs a thousand yen (10 dollars) to eat all the strawberries you can for 30 minutes! Actually, after 10 minutes we couldn't eat more, but I guess I ate enough to say that one thousand yen was cheap =) Not to say that just seeing the place was very interesting!
sorry for this one
The next place was Tsukuba Mountain (the highest mountain in Ibaraki)! We went half the way by car and got the ropeway (cable car) to the top. It's only 877m high but since there are almost no other mountains around we could see very far away. My friend said that on clear days you can even see Tokyo and Mount Fuji.
there were still some snow left
After doing some hiking around the top we went back to the car and back to Mito (while watching a movie on the cell phone).
I got the bus, and came back home sleeping the whole way. \0/
p.s.: thank you very much for these great 2 days, Rie-mama!

I don't think they know, but I really love some of them!
But you know... this is AFS, there are always chances for us to meet again somewhere.
Just like a family.

A onda do momento
Já vai fazer 1 ou 2 semanas que eu e o Paulo preparamos um cházinho religiosamente todos os dias as 11h da noite, e assistimos 2 capítulos de Friends comendo algum biscoito aí enquanto apreciamos o chá.
É a diverssão do momento.
